DAY 5 UNEXPECTED PLACE: Bethlehem, the “Insignificant” Town

God bypasses the palaces and chooses a village barely worth mentioning.

“But you, Bethlehem, David’s country, the runt of the litter - From you will come the leader who will shepherd-rule Israel. He’ll be no upstart, no pretender. His family tree is ancient and distinguished.”

God doesn’t choose places based on prestige… He chooses them based on purpose. Bethlehem teaches us:

Your small places are not disqualifiers. They are incubators. That part of your life you’re tempted to hide? The “nothing good can come from here” part? That might be the exact ground where heaven is planning its next arrival.

That small town upbringing I had? It counts. My little corner of the Internet with a few subscribers and the occasional view or like on social media? It matters. My solo podcast & membership I’m about to launch? Even if it’s to just crickets - as long as it is part of God’s plan, it’s enough. It’s significant.
