Scripture for the Day
Here’s what Yahweh says to you: “I know all about the marvelous destiny I have in store for you, a future planned out in detail. My intention is not to harm you but to surround you with peace and prosperity and to give you a beautiful future, glistening with hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 TPT

For Further Consideration
This verse for me catches me rolling my eyes because it has become such a cliché for people who want to say something but don’t know what to say to people struggling. If we take a closer look at the context of it, it comes with years and years in exile!!! Who wants that, right? However, we have to remember this is the Old Testament. Our punishment of years in exile died on the cross with Jesus. He took on all of our punishment and sin and in one moment paid the debt and wiped everything clean. I love the Passion Translation because it is a fairly new translation and it disrupts what we’ve committed to memory and gives it new life. How do you feel about the words “marvelous destiny”? What comes to mind?
For me, Proverbs 16: 3, 4a, & 9 (TPT) come to mind:
Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not yourself. Then, every plan you make will succeed. The Lord works everything together to accomplish his purpose. . . Within your heart you can make plans for your future, but the Lord chooses the steps you take to get there.
And then, finally, Ephesians 3:20 TPT:
Never doubt God’s mighty power t work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. . . .
and The Mirror Translation states it this way:
We celebrate Elohim who supercharges us powerfully from within. Our biggest request or most amazing dream cannot match the extravagant proportion of their thoughts towards us.
Declaration
I charge forward to the marvelous destiny God has planned for me. I know for every dream I can image, He has something bigger in mind. He know every detail, every step, and every intricacy. I trust God because He knows the end game and He’s the master of the long game. I’m not required to know or plan every detail - God already has that in place and ready to fill in the gaps where I forget or fall short. I praise Him for this journey. (continue below)
Prayer:
Dear Merciful Father,
I trust you. I may struggle with trusting others, but I know that my faith in you is secure and true. I take the steps today that move me forward in your purpose for me trusting that you will guide every step. Thank you for every full circle moment and every God wink and affirmation that remind me that I am not on this journey alone and that You are right here working in everything.
In Christ’s Name, Amen,
